Structure, organisation and members
The organisation of the association
The general assembly consists of all members of the association. It is led by the president of the administrative board or in case of incapability by one of the vice-presidents.
The leadership of the association rests on an administration board, which consists of twenty-five people. The number of administrative board members is divided according to the territorial emphasis, as follows:
- 5 delegates from Lorraine
- 5 delegates from Rhineland-Palatinate
- 5 delegates from Saarland
- 5 delegates from Wallonia: French-speaking community and German-speaking community of Belgium
- 5 delegates from Luxemburg
The administrative board elects a president, four vice-presidents, a secretary and a treasurer from its own ranks. The president and the vice-presidents each represent one of the territorial units. The president is elected for 18 months. The presidency alternates between the different territorial units.
