The plurio.net cooperation

Plurio.net is a project that, between 2004 and 2007, brought together the partners of the cultural sector of the Greater Region from Lorraine, Luxemburg, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate and Wallonia. Plurio.net releases current information about the culture and art of the neighbouring regions. It offers a better visibility of events in the Greater Region and essential information for the cultural actors of the Greater Region.

The construction of the portal and cooperation (2005-2008)

In 2004 seventeen partners from the Greater Region united to create the project’s proposal for the construction of a cultural portal of the Greater Region and to submit it at the European program INTERREG IIIC, RRM "eBird".

The provided approbations and co-financing permitted the construction of the cultural portal of the Greater Region, which has been known as plurio.net since it’s opening in November 2006. The name refers to the rich, multifaceted and "pluralistic" cultural offerings of the Greater Region.
